I cannot begin to explain what an incredible bassist Les Claypool is. His music alone speaks of his diversity and talent for himself. And even better, he was best friends with my inspiration for playing guitar, Kirk Hammett. What impressed me more that he didn’t get into Metallica because James stated “He was just TOO good!”. His playing style is what I’m shooting for when I play bass.
