Dear Johnny Dare Morning Show,
I wanted to write you this morning about two special kids in my life. You see, in 2007 my son was diagnosed with a rare form of liver and lung cancer. He underwent 12 rounds of chemo and two liver transplants. Jaxon has many chronic health concerns including a compromised immune system that makes it hard to be around other children and must be on medication daily to keep him healthy. Even with insurance his medication is around $1200 and this is medication he has to have to live. My daughter, Abby often suffers and has to go out so that I can provide for the medical needs of her brother. She often does so without complaint however for once I’d love to spoil her and let her see that she matters. Johnny our family was split up for is long with Jaxon inpatient at Children’s Mercy that I’d love to be able to provide a great Christmas for Abby and Jaxon. Due to medical bills and the time I have to take off to take care of Jaxon I don’t have the funds for Christmas this. Please Johnny I just want these kids to see the good in the world.
