Dear Johnny Dare morning show,
2 years ago mine and my family’s life change. I wish I could say it was for the best but it wasn’t. my husband was help someone cut down a tree and the tree limb hit the ladder that my husband was on and knocked him of making him fall 20ft to the ground when he did he landed flat on his feet which sent vibrations up his spine shattering his L1 vertebrae leaving him paralyzed from the waist down since he wasn’t able to perform his duties at his job they had to let him go which means no insurance, no way to fill his pain meds or anything and no therapy. We recently had to move from the place where we were living which means we had to come up with the money to move and to have the utilities transferred. the house we live in now is not handicapped accessible for my husband to get in and out of on his own so the only time he can go outside is if I am there to help him out the land lord said he would build him a ramp if I would supply the material the only thing is we have 3 children ages 2 7 and 10 and I can’t afford to buy the things for the ramp let alone pay all our monthly bill and finish paying our deposit for this new house we live in. I didn’t know if we could please get some help building a ramp for my husband that way while I am at work I don’t have to worry as much if there was a fire, emergency or something at home to where my husband can get out on his own. Thanks for at least reading my letter.
