Dear Johnny Dare Morning Show,

This year I write to you with hope that you can help make this Christmas a memorable one. I currently work a full time job but the pay just isn’t enough to cover the bills and get Xmas. We are behind on a few bills that I’m trying my hardest to catch up but it seems I can’t ever get my head above water. This year is especially tough as it looks like this is the last Christmas my wife will be with me and our 3 kids ages 8, 6, and 4. My wife has a terminal illness that could be cured by a double lung and heart transplant, but after testing she doesn’t meet the strict criteria from the mayo clinic. She is at the point now where she no longer has good days but a couple days out of the week she has a few good hours where she is able to move around without too much pain. Our oldest kids the boys know what is happening and it is taking its toll on my oldest. He has been forced to grow up since my wife was diagnosed 3 years ago. He is so much more mature than any 8 year old I have ever met. All 3 of them have already seen me have to bring her back with CPR twice now and are now scared every time she closes her eyes. My kids don’t ask for much Johnny, they know I don’t have a lot of money. My boys even try to give me their money they earn when we are running short. I just can’t bear the idea of them being slapped with finding out about Santa this year when there are no presents. They are already dealing with the possibility that my wife won’t be here much longer. I know there are families out there that have no money at all and need help more than I do, so I will understand if I’m not chosen. I still thank you for your consideration and will continue to hope for the miracle I need.

Thanks for your time sincerely

-Mike
