Dear Johnny Dare Morning Show,
I don’t know where else to turn, so I’m hoping you can help me out with my situation. I am a single mom of a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old little girl. I was recently let go from my job of 10 years…and now I’m trying to play “catch up” on my bills. To cut expenses, I moved out of our rental house into a 2 bedroom apartment…to make things more affordable for us. Being behind on bills, I still have an overdue balance with my electric (left over from the rental home.) The payoff is now at $687.70 and I just don’t have it. I spend every night lying in bed wondering how I’m going to get caught up. If I could just get this bill paid it would take so much stress off of me. I have paid what little I can to keep things on, but you have no idea how it makes me feel to know they could knock on the door any day saying if I don’t pay up it will be shut off. I’m with a staffing company that promises work by next week…but I hope it’s not too late. If you guys could help it would mean more than you ever know. Winter is approaching and I really don’t know how we’ll manage. I understand if you can’t help me…I know there are so many people in need. Thank you for the time to read my letter. I have been listening to the show for at least 15 years and you guys do so much for people around the holidays.
