12/14/11

Dear Johnny Dare Morning Show,

I have never been one to swallow my pride and ask for help, but I am afraid I need a little help this holiday season. Monday 11/28/11, we had a house fire, I left the stove on by accident, while we did not lose our home we are displaced from home for 4-6 months, while it is cleaned and repaired, with a huge fear of where my kids are going to get to spend Christmas at I am also developing a fear of what I am going to be able to get them. We were falling behind on bills before the fire and now things are getting worse. I have 4 WONDERFUL children, a daughter who is 12, 6th grade she kind of understands everything and while she will be upset she can deal with a little less this Christmas. My boys are ages 8, 5, and 5 months. The baby is the happiest baby ever.  The middle boys are the ones I am worried about, they have already asks if Santa will know where we are staying at on Christmas, while I said “of course he will,” I am wondering what Santa will bring? I have found my family a rental house to temporarily stay in, they are letting us move in today, but I still owe them $600, And I don’t know where it is going to come from, we are also in need of groceries as nothing from our kitchen at home was salvageable. I am not the kind of person who likes to ask for help but I really want my kids to have a decent holiday season. Thank you so much and God Bless you all for all that you do for people!!!!

Words can not even express how greatful I am and always will be to everyone involved in this! You are all very special and insperational people! At, so far, the lowest point in my life you all brought me back up again and made me see some light at the end of a very dark tunnel! I wish you all the happiest of holidays, and may God bless all of you and yours!
