Dear Johnny Dare Morning Show,
I’m not that good at writing letters or asking for help but times are incredibly tough right now and I need some help. For the last year my work boots have been held together with pieces of duct tape and hot glue. I just hot glued some pieces of mole skin to the inside of the boots thinking it would fix the water seeping in and I thought I did a good job until it rained a few days ago, I had to finish my shift with cold wet feet, I couldn’t leave to change socks of course..with my job it doesn’t work like that…especially being a temp. I’m very afraid of what will happen once we start getting snow and ice on a regular basis. I tried Wal-Mart but none of the boots were my size, I’ve tried outlet stores and outdoor stores but again…I can’t find my size. I didn’t think it was a hard to come by size, then again the last time I shopped for boots was 4 years ago. Johnny I need a new pair of boots to keep working to provide for my family. I wear 14 2E and they have to be Steel Toed. I understand that there are probably thousands of requests and that there are so many more people who are worse off than I am and my request is pretty trivial compared to most. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. The most sincere of thanks,
Jeff
